Smackdown's No Mercy PPV: Wait, there was a PPV?
Well, imagine that.... apparently Smackdown had a pay-per-view this weekend! Who the hell would've guessed that? Supposedly they even advertised it, though either I missed the ads, or the lineup for the PPV was just that boring. Batista beat Eddie Guerrero cleanly in the main event, and this is one of the only times that I'll ever say that Eddie losing is the right way to go. Batista needs to be fed a few more heels, before he has his climactic showdown with...

with...

Wait a minute... who'se the top heel on Smackdown again?

JBL? Nope
Randy Orton? Give me a friggin' break
Ken Kennedy? Too soon.
Christian? Should be.

So now who exactly are they grooming Batista for an epic battle against? The WWE'd better get Brock Lesnar signed, sealed and delivered for Wrestlemania, or else Batista is gonna be mighty lonely at the Big Dance.
